Platform automates IT infrastructure assessment, remediation, and compliance reporting for India's regulated industries — addressing SEBI, RBI, and CERT-In requirements with AI precision
Spectra Technologies India Private Limited today announced the launch of SpectraAI, a platform that applies artificial intelligence to IT infrastructure assessment, automated remediation, and regulatory compliance documentation for Indian enterprises.
The platform addresses a critical gap in India's enterprise IT landscape: while regulatory bodies including SEBI, RBI, and CERT-In have issued detailed cybersecurity frameworks, most organisations lack the technical resources to assess their compliance posture accurately or act on findings systematically.
SpectraAI combines a multi-round AI assessment engine with SpectraAgent — a purpose-built tool that deploys on customer servers, diagnoses infrastructure issues with engineer-grade depth, and executes fixes with full audit trails and one-command revert capability. The entire process — from initial risk identification to compliance documentation — is handled by the platform without relying on manual audit processes.
"Indian enterprises, particularly in BFSI and healthcare, are sitting on significant infrastructure risk that they cannot see clearly. Traditional audits produce reports that sit unread. SpectraAI doesn't just identify what's wrong — it fixes it, documents it, and generates the evidence package auditors actually need. We built this because we spent years doing this work manually and realised AI could do it better, faster, and cheaper."
SpectraAI launches with eight specialised assessment verticals covering IT infrastructure, ransomware readiness, SEBI CSCRF compliance, RBI IT framework, website and code vulnerability assessment, database health, and healthcare IT (ABDM/HIS). Each assessment is mapped to the specific Indian regulatory frameworks applicable to that vertical.
SpectraAgent, the platform's on-premise execution tool, operates in seven modes — from read-only assessment to guided and automated remediation, continuous monitoring, emergency triage, compliance audit, and a training mode for junior engineers. The tool supports four connectivity architectures including fully air-gapped deployments for government and defence organisations.
Every remediation action executed by SpectraAgent includes a mandatory dry run, automatic backup, engineer confirmation step, and auto-generated revert script — ensuring no production change occurs without visibility and reversibility.
SEBI's Cybersecurity and Cyber Resilience Framework (CSCRF) mandates specific technical controls for all market infrastructure institutions and regulated entities. The RBI's IT framework for NBFCs and banks requires documented risk assessments and remediation evidence. CERT-In's April 2022 directive mandates 6-hour breach reporting — requiring organisations to have monitoring infrastructure in place. SpectraAI's reports are structured to provide the evidence documentation required for all three frameworks.
The platform is built and operated from New Delhi. All customer data is stored on servers located in India, in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023. Air-gapped deployment is supported for sovereign and defence environments.
SpectraAI is available immediately at spectraai.co.in. The initial AI assessment is free for the first two engagements per organisation, with results available within 10 minutes. Paid engagements for remediation and monitoring start from ₹15,000. SpectraCloud managed server services with bundled SpectraAI monitoring are available at spectracloud.co.in.
